Job summary

Smashing Dishes, the Bay Area off-site catering brand, is seeking a Sales Executive to own the full sales cycle for a portfolio of catered events and drive revenue through new business and client relationships.

You will coordinate with culinary, production, and clerical teams, manage proposals, payments, and CRM records, and work to meet sales targets while adapting to event schedules in the region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in events or hospitality.
• Experience building client relationships and closing sales.
• Familiarity with catering industry and event lifecycle.
• Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office/Google Workspace.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Ability to manage multiple leads and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead management and timely discovery calls with CRM record keeping.
• Pursue new business with outbound sales and relationship development.
• Draft and maintain proposals with pricing consistency.
• Ensure payments (retainer, final, post-event) are completed by the client.
• Coordinate across departments to move the sales cycle and meet client objectives.
