Bon Appetit Management Company in California seeks a Catering Sales and Events Manager to nurture existing client relationships and pursue new business opportunities around core day-to-day events. You will personalize each event with passion, leveraging brand strengths to craft food and beverage solutions for internal and external clients.

The role requires coordinating with culinary and operations teams, managing budgets, and guiding events from concept to completion in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in catering sales, events, or related field.
• College degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Hospitality mindset with service-focused experience.
• High accuracy, strong organization, and proactive client support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex events with short lead times.

Responsibilities

• Support account management and sales process via tickets in GEMS per designated areas.
• Reach out to clients for specific event catering needs.
• Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for event execution.
• Manage changes from Gems to BEOs and communicate updates to teams.
• Meet with clients to discuss budgets, themes, and experiences.
• Attend onsite meetings and site visits with clients as needed.
• Coordinate onsite event logistics with Martiz partner and culinary/ops teams.
• Ensure timely, professional correspondence and billing processes.
• Support off-standard brochure requests and custom menu/beverage needs.
• Lead in high-end events onsite when required.
