Bon Appetit Management Company seeks a Catering Sales & Events Manager in San Jose, CA. This role focuses on maintaining an existing client base while pursuing internal business opportunities centered on day-to-day client events and brand-aligned catering solutions.

The position requires strong relationship-building, event coordination, and revenue growth within a fast-paced foodservice environment. Applicants should have related experience and excellent communication skills.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in catering sales, convention services, banquet event management, hotel management, or related field
• College degree preferred, or equivalent experience
• Hospitality mindset with prior experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or foodservice environments
• High level of accuracy with strong organizational skills and proactive client support
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Detail‑oriented and able to multi‑task and solve problems
• Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office preferred; Catertrax and Monday.com knowledge highly preferred

Responsabilidades

• Support account management and sales process through ticket review, distribution, and follow-up in GEMS platforms
• Initiate client outreach for event catering needs
• Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for event execution
• Manage changes to Gems to BEOs and communicate updates
• Meet with clients to discuss budgets, themes, and experiences
• Attend onsite meetings and site visits with clients
• Coordinate onsite event logistics with partners
• Review and process invoices for final billing deadlines
• Coordinate with culinary and operations teams on menu/beverage needs
• Support high-end events onsite when required
• Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with client relationship initiatives and post-event follow-up
