Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts seeks a Catering Supervisor to train, supervise and coordinate all Catering associates to solicit and book Banquet and Catering functions, aiming for customer satisfaction and profitability.

You will report to the Director of Sales & Marketing, tour banquet and meeting spaces, develop menus, negotiate contracts and oversee event service from setup to breakdown. Strong English communication, leadership, and F&B knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English with guests and colleagues.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs on an occasional basis.
• Thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, proper preparation and presentation of foods and beverages items.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire and train Catering staff; manage performance and discipline when appropriate.
• Inspect banquet and meeting spaces daily and report repairs.
• Develop persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
• Schedule duties for staff to ensure efficient operation of the Catering Department.
• Solicit new accounts and oversee service of group functions; manage contracts.
• Negotiate, write and enter contracts into the sales system.
