Hy-Vee is seeking a Catering Coordinator to manage the full catering experience, from meeting with customers and writing detailed orders to coordinating across departments and ensuring smooth event execution. • High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of similar or related work experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and math skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Meet with customers to understand catering needs and write detailed orders.
• Coordinate across departments (kitchen, bakery, deli) for event execution.
• Set department standards for service, cleanliness, and appearance.
• Develop contracts and pricing, prepare bills, and oversee invoicing.
• Ensure proper temperatures and storage for catering items.
• Organize store shows and events and coordinate with events staff.
• Support equipment decisions and maintain vendor relationships.
• Attend meetings and help maintain competitive pricing in the market area.
