Hy-Vee is seeking a Catering Coordinator in Des Moines to manage the full catering experience from initial consultation to event execution. You will write detailed orders, coordinate across kitchen, bakery, deli, and store operations, and ensure every event runs smoothly.

The role emphasizes organization, customer service excellence, and teamwork. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of related experience are required, with the flexibility to handle fast-paced retail catering assignments.

• Experience in retail or catering environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Meet with customers to understand catering needs and write detailed orders.
• Coordinate across kitchen, bakery, deli and store operations to fulfill events.
• Set and uphold department standards for service, cleanliness, and appearance.
• Develop contracts for exclusive Hy-Vee catering events and manage pricing and invoicing.
• Organize store shows and events, and assist with supplier coordination.
