Hy-Vee is seeking a Catering Clerk in our Market Grille to coordinate and deliver catering orders, work with the Catering Manager, and ensure every customer interaction is friendly and efficient. If you enjoy a fast-paced team environment and take pride in making people’s special moments easier and more memorable, this role could be a great fit.

Typical shifts keep you on the move, with duties ranging from greeting customers, delivering orders, handling payments, and assisting in other store

Formación

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Server experience is a plus; training provided.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and provide friendly service.
• Deliver catering orders promptly and collect payment.
• Collect delivery items and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Maintain food safety with proper temperature logs and freshness checks.
• Keep work area clean and organized; follow sanitation procedures.
• Resolve customer issues with care and professionalism.
• Train new employees on event coordination and delivery processes.
• Support delivery vehicle maintenance and scheduling.
