Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers warmly.
• Meet with customers to understand catering needs and write detailed orders.
• Coordinate across departments (kitchen, bakery, deli) to fulfill events.
• Set and uphold department standards for service, cleanliness, and appearance.
• Develop contracts for exclusive Hy-Vee catering events.
• Determine pricing, prepare bills, post invoices, and oversee bookkeeping.
• Develop standard catering practices and conduct quality checks.
• Organize store shows and events and coordinate with the events coordinator.
• Ensure proper temperatures and storage to maintain freshness and reduce shrink.
• Attend manager meetings and ensure competitive pricing in the market area.
