AVI Foodsystems, Inc. seeks a dynamic Director of Catering for Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH. This full-time leadership role manages catering activities, schedules staff, and oversees event operations with a focus on quality and service.

Qualifications

• One to three years of management experience in the catering field.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and decision-making ability.
• Ability to lead, supervise, train and coordinate the catering team.
• Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule.
• Multitask with strong customer service principles and service recovery.
• Operational knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and catering billing systems.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates catering activities with client representative.
• Schedule catering associates and distribute workloads.
• Prepare pre-event and clean-up checklists.
• Ordering, receiving and inventory of supplies.
• Communicates with General Manager, Chef and other team members to ensure high quality products and service.
• Monitors care and operation of delivery vehicles.
• Drives Van and/or Box truck to or from events as needed if Driver is unavailable.
• Follow-up on catered events.
• Monitors team member job performance.
• Financial management of catering activities through food, labor and supply controls.
• Works with Director of Special Events, Resident Director, GM, Client, and others on menu concepts and events.
• Maintain accurate records of events for future planning.
• Any position or other duties as required.
