This full-time leadership role offers growth within a respected food service company and a chance to shape service quality on campus. You will manage catering staff, plan events, oversee menus, budgeting, and compliance, while coordinating with clients, the General Manager, Chef, and university partners.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of management experience in the catering field.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and decision-making ability.
• Ability to lead, supervise, train and coordinate the catering team.
• Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule.
• Multitask with strong customer service principles and service recovery.
• Operational knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and catering billing systems.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering activities with client representative.
• Schedule catering associates and distribute workloads.
• Prepare pre-event and clean-up checklists.
• Ordering, receiving and inventory of supplies.
• Communicates with GM, Chef and team to ensure high quality.
• Monitors care and operation of delivery vehicles.
• Drives van/box truck to events when needed.
• Follow-up on catered events and performance.
• Manage catering finances via food, labor and supplies controls.
• Collaborate with Director of Special Events, Resident Director, GM, Client on menus and events.
• Maintain accurate event records for planning.
