Job summary

Astanor is seeking a Catering Delivery Driver in South Salt Lake, UT to support Hungry's events, transporting food and equipment between hubs, vendors and client sites.

You will drive a personal vehicle, lift up to 50 lbs, and coordinate with the team to ensure timely setup and guest experience. Availability Tue–Thu mornings, with potential additional shifts; must have a valid driver's license and insurance.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs while loading and unloading.
• 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the US.
• Energetic, customer-oriented with strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pick up equipment at hub in Murray, UT and transport food to client sites.
• Coordinate with team to ensure on-time delivery and setup.
• Answer guests' questions professionally and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Maintain professional appearance and adapt to event needs.

Catering Delivery Driver

The Gig

• Days of Operations: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings (approximately 8am-12pm availability)
• Requires use of personal vehicle for most events (seeking drivers with vehicle, license, and auto insurance)
• Pick up equipment at hub in Murray UT, pick up food from nearby vendor, transport to client site and complete designated drop off/clean up
• Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team
• Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset
• Professionally answer food-related questions and guide guests
• Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event are executed
• High level attention to detail and outgoing personality
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events
• Ability to choose when and how much you work

Requirements

Benefits

Compensation: Gig-Dependent (on average, equivalent to approximately $19-22/hr + 100% of Client Tips)
