Job summary

HUNGRY Marketplace is seeking energetic event associates in the United States to support on-site catering deliveries and setup. You will pick up equipment, transport food from vendors to client sites, and assist with guest interactions, maintaining a professional demeanor and clear communication throughout each event.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, be 18+, authorized to work in the US, and comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must own a vehicle and have a valid driver’s license with auto insurance.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• 18+ years of age.
• Excellent communication and customer-service mindset.
• Food service, catering, or event experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team to execute events.

The Gig:

• Days of Operations: Monday-Friday, 8am-2pm

• Requires use of personal vehicle for most events (seeking drivers with vehicle, license, and auto insurance)

  • Pick up equipment at hub in Houston, TX, pick up food from vendor, transport to client site and complete designated set up/drop-off.

• Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team

• Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset.

• Professionally answer food-related questions and guide guests.

• Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event are executed.

• High level attention to detail and outgoing personality

• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events

• Ability to choose when and how much you work.

• Reliable transportation (use personal vehicle)

• Valid driver's license and insurance.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
