Job summary

HUNGRY is hiring for a gig driver in the Denver area. You’ll use your own vehicle to pick up equipment, transport food from vendors, and deliver to client sites while setting up or dropping off as needed.

Proactive communication with clients and team is essential, along with maintaining a professional appearance and attitude. This role offers flexible hours and pays approx. $20–$21 per hour plus client tips.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and ability to transport equipment to events.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• 18+ years of age and authorized to work in the US.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in food service, catering, or events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pickup equipment at hub in Denver, transport to client site, and assist with setup/drop-off.
• Coordinate with HUNGRY team to ensure smooth event execution.
• Provide friendly, professional answers to guests’ questions about food.
• Maintain a customer-oriented, efficient approach during events.
• Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Offer flexibility in scheduling and working hours based on events.

The Gig

• Days of Operations: Monday-Friday, 9am-12pm
• Requires use of personal vehicle for most events (seeking drivers with vehicle, license, and auto insurance)
  • Pick up equipment at hub in Denver, pick up food from vendor, transport to client site and complete designated set up or drop off.
• Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team
• Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset
• Professionally answer food-related questions and guide guests
• Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event are executed
• High level attention to detail and outgoing personality
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events
• Ability to choose when and how much you work

Requirements

• Reliable transportation (use personal vehicle)
• Valid driver's license and insurance
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
