Job summary

HUNGRY is seeking drivers in Houston for weekday events to deliver, set up, and serve at client sites. You will use your own vehicle to transport equipment and meals, coordinate with the team, and ensure guests have a positive experience.

Ideal candidates are reliable, energetic, and customer-oriented with strong communication skills. Food service or catering experience is a plus; a valid driver’s license and insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up equipment at hub in Houston, TX, pick up food from vendor, transport to client site and complete set up/drop-off
• Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team
• Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset
• Answer food-related questions and guide guests
• Communicate to ensure all event elements are executed
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events
• Manage workload with flexible hours

The Gig:

• Days of Operations: Monday-Friday, 8am-2pm
• Requires use of personal vehicle for most events (seeking drivers with vehicle, license, and auto insurance)

Benefits

Compensation: Gig-Dependent (on average, equivalent to approximately $19-21/hr + 100% of Client Tips)
