Job summary

HUNGRY is seeking drivers in Houston, TX for gig-based events. You will pick up equipment, transport food to client sites, and complete designated set up/drop-off. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am-2pm, with usage of a personal vehicle, valid license and insurance, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and 18+ years of age.

Compensation is gig-dependent, approximately $19–$21 per hour plus 100% of client tips. Work with the HUNGRY team to ensure flawless event execution and excellent guest experiences

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with insurance.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Engaging, energetic, and customer-oriented personality.
• Food service, catering, or event experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick up equipment at hub in Houston, TX, pick up food from vendor, transport to client site and complete designated set up/drop-off.
• Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team.
• Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Professionally answer food-related questions and guide guests.
• Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event are executed.
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events.
• Ability to choose when and how much you work.

The Gig:

• Days of Operations: Monday-Friday, 8am-2pm
• Requires use of personal vehicle for most events (seeking drivers with vehicle, license, and auto insurance)
• Pick up equipment at hub in Houston, TX, pick up food from vendor, transport to client site and complete designated set up/drop-off.

Requirements

Benefits Compensation: Gig-Dependent (on average, equivalent to approximately $19-21/hr + 100% of Client Tips)
