Job summary

HUNGRY in Gardena is seeking energetic drivers to staff weekend events and cater to guests with friendly, professional service. You will pick up equipment at the Gardena hub, collect food from vendors in Culver City, and transport to client sites in El Segundo to complete setup or drop-off.

This role requires a valid license, auto insurance, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You must be reliable, 18+, authorized to work in the US, and comfortable engaging with guests in a fast-paced

• Customer-service oriented with strong communication.
• Experience in food service, catering, or events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick up equipment at hub in Gardena, pick up food from vendor in Culver City, and transport to client site in El Segundo for setup or drop-off.
• Coordinate with other Hungr y team members and maintain a customer-focused approach.
• Answer guest questions professionally and ensure smooth event execution.

The Gig:

• Days of Operations: Tuesdays & Thursdays from approximately 8:30am-12pm
• Requires use of personal vehicle for most events (seeking drivers with vehicle, license, and auto insurance)
• Pick up equipment at hub in Gardena, pick up food from vendor in Culver City, transport to client site in El Segundo and complete designated set up or drop off.
• Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team
• Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Professionally answer food-related questions and guide guests.
• Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event are executed.
• High level attention to detail and outgoing personality
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events
• Ability to choose when and how much you work.

• Reliable transportation (use personal vehicle)
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Compensation: Gig-Dependent (on average, equivalent to approximately $22-24/hr + 100% of Client Tips
