Job summary

HUNGRY is seeking gig-based event staff in Houston to transport and set up meals and equipment for client events. You will pick up from a hub, deliver to the client site, and complete setup and drop-off with a focus on hospitality and guest experience.

Qualified candidates are 18+, authorized to work in the US, and may have food service or event experience. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a professional appearance at

Responsibilities

• Pick up equipment at hub in Houston, TX, pick up food from vendor, transport to client site and complete designated set up/drop-off.
• Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team.
• Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Professionally answer food-related questions and guide guests.
• Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event are executed.
• High level attention to detail and outgoing personality.
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events.
• Ability to choose when and how much you work.

The Gig:

• Days of Operations: Monday-Friday, 8am-2pm
• Requires use of personal vehicle for most events (seeking drivers with vehicle, license, and auto insurance)

Compensation:

Gig-Dependent (on average, equivalent to approximately $19-21/hr + 100% of Client Tips
