Job summary

Corner Bakery Cafe in Plano, TX is seeking team members to support breakfast and lunch preparation, front- and back-of-house operations, and delivery duties. You will review prep sheets, assemble catering items, and help maintain clean and inviting dining areas.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, English proficiency, and at least 3 months in guest service or a restaurant/retail environment. CBC driver training and ServSafe or Foodhandler certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or in progress.
• Must complete CBC driver training and pass MVR per CBC standards.
• State Foodhandler card or ServSafe certification as applicable.
• Minimum 3 months' guest service or restaurant/retail experience.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining accurate cash flow and integrity of financial transactions.
• Prepare and organize food for delivery to guest.

• Prepare and organize food for delivery to guest

Job Specifications and Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent or in process of completing same
• Must be able to complete CBC driver training, pass a MVR according to CBC standards and maintain a valid drivers' license with insurance
• State Foodhandler card/ServSafe certification as applicable
• Preferably a minimum of 3 months' work experience in a guest service capacity. Restaurant or retail environment preferred
• Possess strong guest service and communication skills
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be proficient in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
