Job summary

General Tso’s Restaurant & Catering in the Atlanta area seeks a reliable Catering Coordinator to run daily catering orders from receipt to delivery. You’ll be the main contact for clients, the kitchen, and drivers, ensuring accuracy and smooth coordination.

This on-site role in Dunwoody (near 4957 Winters Chapel Rd) offers Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM, $18–$20/hour (W-2) with overtime after 40 hours. Experience with Toast, Shipday, EzCater, ZeroCater, or Foodsby is a plus.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a desktop computer, email, spreadsheets, and phone
• Clear, polite English; Chinese or Spanish is a plus
• Accurate with details and able to handle multiple orders
• Available Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM
• Live within about a 40-minute drive
• Legally authorized to work in the US

Responsibilities

• Receive and confirm catering orders from clients and platforms
• Enter orders in Toast and Shipday with accurate items and times
• Communicate with clients, confirm details, and manage changes
• Coordinate deliveries with drivers and track until delivery
• Coordinate with kitchen with prep lists and packing checks
• Resolve late, missing, or wrong orders and escalate as needed
• Maintain a daily log of orders, issues, and client notes

Job description

Location: On site at 4957 Winters Chapel Rd, Suite B, Dunwoody, GA 30360. We hire within about a 40-minute drive (no traffic).

Job type: Full time (W-2). Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with occasional early or late event days.

Pay: $18 to $20 per hour depending on experience (W-2). Overtime is paid at 1.5x after 40 hours in a week.

About the job

You run the day-to-day of our catering orders, from the moment an order arrives to the moment it is delivered and confirmed. You are the contact for clients, our kitchen and our drivers.

What you'll do

• Orders: receive and confirm catering orders from corporate clients and catering platforms (ezCater, ZeroCater, Foodsby, Fooda, direct calls and emails).
• Toast entry: enter and correct each order in Toast with the right items, quantity, time, address and notes and in Shipday for dispatch.
• Client communication: answer calls and emails, confirm details, handle changes (headcount, time, address) and follow up after delivery.
• Delivery coordination: assign orders to drivers in Shipday, give drivers the address, contact and timing, and track deliveries until they are confirmed delivered.
• Kitchen coordination: send prep lists to the kitchen and check that orders are packed correctly before they leave.
• Problem solving: handle late, missing or wrong orders and escalat issues to the owner or manager.
• Records: keep a daily list of orders, issues and client notes.

Required
