Job summary

Lunds & Byerlys Catering is hiring a Full-time Food Service Cook to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers. The role offers a competitive wage of $20.50-$26.25/hr with a full-time schedule across our campus operations.

The Caterering Cook will prepare food for catering orders, assemble platters, and maintain a clean workspace while working within a team-oriented environment open seven days a week from 6:00am to 10:00pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year cooking experience in catering, restaurants, or other food service.
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for catering orders, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients; make sauces and dressings from scratch; cook hot food using oven, fryer, steamer, and stove top.
• Assemble platters as needed and load dishes into hot bags for delivery team.
• Ensure cleanliness of the work area.

Lunds & Byerlys Catering is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing Full-time Food Service Cook to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $20.50-$26.25/hr.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 8:00am-6:00pm.

CATERING COOK RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Catering Cooks are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Preparing food for catering ordering including:
  • Chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
  • Making sauces and dressings from scratch
  • Cooking hot food using equipment like an oven, fryer, steamer, and stove top
• Assembling platters as needed and loading dishes into hot bags for the delivery team
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the work area

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
