Lunds & Byerlys Catering is seeking a vibrant, outgoing part-time Catering Cook at our Minnesota operation. The role offers shifts mostly 9:00am–5:00pm, with pay ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, and up to 39 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year cooking experience in catering, restaurants, or other food service.
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare catering orders, chopping, slicing, dicing ingredients and making sauces from scratch.
• Assemble platters and load dishes into hot bags for delivery.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

Lunds & Byerlys Catering is currently hiring for a vibrant and outgoing part-time CateringCook to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a part-time schedule, with the ability to regularly work up to 39 hours/week and earns a competitive wage of $18.00-$20.00/hr.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 9:00am-5:00pm.

CATERING COOK RESPONSIBILITIES

Our Catering Cooks are responsible for a wide variety of tasks such as:

• Preparing food for catering ordering including:
  • Chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
  • Making sauces and dressings from scratch
  • Cooking hot food using equipment like an oven, fryer, steamer, and stove top
• Assembling platters as needed and loading dishes into hot bags for the delivery team
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the work area

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
  • Minimum of one (1) years cooking experience in catering, restaurants, or other food service
• Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification
  • Communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
