This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Catering and Events Coordinator to join our team supporting a government client with multiple locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area. In this role you will be responsible for managing the catering of government sponsored events at multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee food catering operations at multiple government facilities in support of government sponsored conferences, ceremonies, and events.
• Oversee catering associated with executive dining with VIPs.
• Ensure the dining solutions meet customer needs and tastes while exceeding their expectations.
• Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of these events within budget while ensuring food quality, food service, and general customer service.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards for the food service to include adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Required:

• Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a poly upon request
• Bachelors in hospitality management or Associates in Culinary Arts.
• More than five years of experience in the management of catering services.
• Diverse knowledge of food and catering services and trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Basic Compensation:

$32,600 - $48,900

This range is for the Maryland area only

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
