Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a procurement professional to provide strategic sourcing and contract management support across North America. You will develop and negotiate supplier agreements, drive process improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure optimal value, quality, and availability of materials and services.

The role requires 3+ years in procurement within manufacturing, production, or construction, with proficiency in SAP and Ariba.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, financial, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement and contract management within manufacturing, production, or construction environments.
• Professional accreditation in Supply Chain Management is preferred.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing strategic sourcing and contract management support across North America for assigned category.
• Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements to ensure optimal value and compliance
• Identify and drive process improvements in procurement and supplier performance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies and negotiate supply and service agreements that meet operational needs for price, quality, service, and availability.

What Are We Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, financial, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement and contract management within manufacturing, production, or construction environments.
• Professional accreditation in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Strong understanding of procurement, contract management, and sourcing best practices
• Skilled in negotiation, relationship building, and stakeholder engagement
• Proficiency in SAP (ECC 6.0 MM module), Microsoft Office applications, and Ariba platforms

Work Environment

This role is based in our Irving, TX office and may require occasional travel. You'll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams across North America.
