Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a hands-on team member to support plant and yard operations at our Aransas Pass facility. You will help maintain daily workflow, operate equipment safely, and assist with inspections and basic maintenance in a busy industrial setting.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and adaptability, with opportunities to learn plant processes and equipment operation while supporting changing priorities across operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support plant, yard, and production operations to help maintain efficient daily workflow.
• Operate equipment, tools, and material handling systems safely and effectively.
• Perform housekeeping and cleanup activities to promote a safe, organized workplace.
• Assist with equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repair tasks.
• Follow safety, environmental, and operational procedures while contributing to team production goals.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

• $20.00 to $21.00 per hour DOE (depending on experience)
