Job summary

Heidelberg Materials US, Inc. is seeking a procurement professional based in Irving, TX to provide strategic sourcing and contract management across North America.

You will develop, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements to ensure value and compliance, while driving improvements in procurement processes and supplier performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies and negotiate agreements that meet price, quality and availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement and contract management within manufacturing, production, or construction environments.
• Professional accreditation in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Strong understanding of procurement, contract management, and sourcing best practices.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing strategic sourcing and contract management support across North America for assigned category.
• Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements to ensure optimal value and compliance.
• Identify and drive process improvements in procurement and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies and negotiate supply and service agreements that meet operational needs for price, quality, service, and availability.
• Support procurement systems and tools, including SAP and Ariba, to enhance efficiency.

What Are We Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, financial, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement and contract management within manufacturing, production, or construction environments.
• Professional accreditation in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Strong understanding of procurement, contract management, and sourcing best practices.
• Skilled in negotiation, relationship building, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in SAP (ECC 6.0 MM module), Microsoft Office applications, and Ariba platforms.

Work Environment

This role is based in our Irving, TX office and may require occasional travel. You'll work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams across North America.
