Heidelberg Materials is seeking a procurement professional to support North America in Irving, TX. You will lead strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiations across manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, financial, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement and contract management in manufacturing, production, or construction.
• Professional accreditation in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• Strong understanding of procurement, contract management, and sourcing best practices.
• Skilled in negotiation, relationship building, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in SAP ECC 6.0 MM and Ariba; knowledge of MS Office.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing strategic sourcing and contract management support across North America for assigned category.


• Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements to ensure optimal value and compliance


• Identify and drive process improvements in procurement and supplier performance


• Collaborate with stakeholders to align sourcing strategies and negotiate supply and service agreements that meet operational needs for price, quality, service, and availability.


• Support procurement systems and tools, including SAP and Ariba, to enhance efficiency

What Are We Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, financial, or related field.


• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement and contract management within manufacturing, production, or construction environments.


• Professional accreditation in Supply Chain Management is preferred.

Work Environment
