PetIQ is seeking a Category Advisor Manager to lead objective, data-driven category growth with Walmart merchants. You will guide modular strategy, execution, and item content while ensuring adherence to Walmart guidelines.

Responsibilities include delivering actionable insights, owning omni-category reporting, and driving cross-functional collaboration to optimize assortment and digital shelf performance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related field.
• 7–10+ years in Category Management, Shopper Insights, or related CPG roles.
• Direct Walmart or Sam’s Club Category Advisor experience.
• Demonstrated experience with modular development and space planning.
• Strong expertise with syndicated data, POS, and analytics tools.

• Serve as a neutral, category-first advisor to Walmart merchants, ensuring all recommendations are focused on total category growth.
• Deliver insights that help Walmart anticipate and respond to customer needs, improve in-stocks, and simplify the shopping experience.
• Present recommendations directly to merchants and influence category decisions through fact-based storytelling.
• Lead modular strategy development, including demand clustering and assortment by cluster/footage; space allocation and productivity optimization.
• Own development of Omni Category and Item reporting, including sales, share, trends, gaps, and digital performance.
• Guide item content improvements and digital shelf excellence to align with brand standards.
