Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Manager, Category Leadership to influence Walmart and Sam’s retailers and support Smucker’s sales teams to grow our brands. You will lead category growth initiatives and tailor retailer content for impactful storytelling.

The role requires robust analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication to drive JBP and annual plans. You will participate in retailer meetings, translate insights into actions, and champion a data-driven, shopper-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years in Consumer-Packaged Goods industry.
• 3+ years Category Management or Shopper Insights experience.
• Proven success building relationships with retailers.
• Experience analyzing shopper/consumer data in CP G.
• Strong analytical, storytelling, and problem-solving skills.
• Cross-functional collaboration with customer and sales teams.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Circana or Nielsen data, POS, Scintilla, Atlas.
• Planogramming software experience (JDA ProSpace, EZPOG).
• Ability to translate insights into actions and strategies.
• Strategic mindset for planning and execution.
• Business & Financial Acumen.
• Travel up to 20-25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop category growth drivers and retailer content.
• Own shelving and assortment and partner on price/promo.
• Provide insights to inform JBP, QBRs and annual plans.
• Lead category reviews and retailer meetings with stakeholders.
• Influence retailer strategies with data-driven recommendations.
• Create customer-ready visuals and stories for selling conversations.
• Anchor planning with facts and track promo effectiveness.
• Support omni activation across category deliverables.
