Position may be eligible for an annual bonus payment.

Exercises independent discretion in handling all types of catastrophe property claims and assists field offices when not on deployment.
Establish contact with policyholders, assess damages, determine liability, prepare estimates, document claims, negotiate payments, supervise independent adjusters, and stay current with industry regulations. Also, assist in claims handling outside of catastrophe deployment and maintain the company vehicle.

High school diploma or equivalent; five years claims handling experience including two in property claims; knowledge of damage repair and valuation; preferred completion of AIC; proficiency with estimating software; valid license and good driving record; willingness to travel and serve on the Catastrophe Team.
Lifting/moving 0-20 lbs and 20-50 lbs frequently, over 50 lbs with equipment, frequent driving, occasional pushing/pulling, data entry, climbing, and accessing heights.
