Salary Range: $66,625.00-$106,427.00*

Position may be eligible for an annual bonus payment.

Exercises independent discretion or judgment in handling all types of catastrophe property claims. Assists assigned field office when not on deployment in handling day-to-day property claims.
Establish contact with policyholders regarding their loss, visit damage sites, and assess damages. Set and manage reserves, identify liability, and determine claim value. Prepare estimates and negotiate claims. Document activities and manage claim files. Collaborate with independent adjusters and attend industry training to stay current on legal and regulatory developments. Support field offices when not on catastrophe deployment and maintain the company vehicle.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum five years claims handling experience, including two years in property claims. Knowledge of structural damage repair and valuation techniques. Preferred: Completion of AIC program, proficiency with estimating software (preferably Symbility), valid license, and good driving record. Must reside within the assigned territory unless approved for relocation. Willingness to serve on the Catastrophe Team, including short-notice travel for extended periods.
