Handles all types of catastrophe property claims, exercising independent discretion or judgment. Assists assigned field offices when not on catastrophe deployment in managing day-to-day property claims.
Establish contact with policyholders, assess damages, determine liability and claim value, prepare estimates, negotiate payments, and oversee claim handling, including supervising independent adjusters as needed. Attend industry training and support field offices when not on catastrophe duty. Maintain the attached Sprinter Van.

High school diploma or equivalent required. At least five years of claims handling experience, including two years of property claims, with strong technical knowledge of damage repair and valuation. Preferred: AIC certification, proficiency with estimating software (preferably Symbility), valid driver’s license, and residence within the assigned territory.
Includes lifting/moving up to 50 lbs, frequent driving, and climbing, among others, with specified frequencies.
