Salary Range: $66,625.00-$106,427.00*
*This range represents a national range and the actual salary will depend on several factors including the scope and complexity of the role, skills, education, training, credentials, location, and experience of an applicant, as well as the level of role for which the successful candidate is hired. Position may be eligible for an annual bonus payment.

Exercises independent discretion or judgment in handling all types of catastrophe property claims. Also assists assigned field office when not on catastrophe deployment in handling day-to-day property claims.
Establishes contact with Policyholders regarding their loss, driving to the site of damage within the assigned territory or other locations if required.
Sets and manages reserves within designated authority.
Identifies and assesses damage, determines liability, and the total value of the claim.
Prepares estimates for damages, obtains scope of work and costs from contractors or Policyholders.
Documents all activities in claim files and submits final reports for closure.
Decides on payments, issues checks, and negotiates claims with attorneys when necessary.
Supervises handling of property losses by independent adjusters as needed and advises on claim handling.
Participates in industry training to stay current on legal and regulatory developments.
Supports field offices when not on catastrophe duty, bringing claims to resolution.
Maintains operational readiness of the attached Sprinter Van.

High school diploma or equivalent required. Five years claims handling experience, including two in property claims, required. Strong knowledge of structural damage repair and valuation techniques or equivalent required. Preferred: AIC certification, proficiency with estimating software (preferably Symbility), valid state license, and a valid driver’s license with a good record. Must reside within the assigned territory unless approved for relocation. Willingness to respond to catastrophe deployments with short notice and travel for extended periods.
