Job summary

Wagner Equipment Co. is seeking a Rental Field Service Technician for the CAT Rental division in Commerce City, CO. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment at customer sites, while maintaining service logs and clear communication with customers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, CAT-related training, and 3+ years in heavy equipment service plus 3+ years in customer service. The role requires travel and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CAT related courses or certification preferred.
• Experience servicing heavy equipment highly desired.
• 1+ years administrative/clerical experience.
• 3+ years customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment at customer sites.
• Maintain logs and CAT service reports with accurate details.
• Transmit photos and timecards to the service team by email.
• Maintain customer job records and receipts for accounting.
• Collaborate with Service, Product Support, and Sales teams.
• Explain diagnoses and repair status to customers.
• Teach and coach other technicians when needed.
• Uphold safety standards and proper MTSA/OSHA compliance.
