Job summary

Archaea Energy, a bp company, seeks a Field Maintenance Technician - CAT to perform major maintenance across multiple RNG power facilities. You will troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul engines, and support reliability initiatives with hands-on maintenance and documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, CAT engine experience preferred, and up to 80% travel. A high school diploma or GED is required, with CMMS and MS Office proficiency valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with CAT G3500/G3600 engines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance across multiple power-generation sites.
• Execute engine overhauls, inspections, and repairs to OEM standards.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Assist with corrective and preventive maintenance to improve reliability.
• Maintain accurate service records in CMMS and coordinate with site teams.
• Travel up to 80% and respond to outages as needed.
