Gastro Care Partners in Casper, WY is seeking a compassionate Patient Access Representative for a full-time, in-person role. You will be the first contact, handling registration, scheduling, and check-in with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare, front office, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with EMR systems preferred.
• Basic understanding of insurance verification and scheduling processes preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet patients, families, and visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.
• Register patients and verify all necessary demographic, insurance, and medical information.
• Provide patient education regarding procedure preparation, insurance requirements, and billing processes.
• Schedule patients for various clinical services with accuracy and efficiency.
• Answer incoming phone calls, address inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
• Perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties to support daily operations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive patient information at all times to ensure compliance with HIPAA and all organizational policies
