Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel is seeking a Steward to support kitchen and restaurant operations by ensuring cookware, utensils, and serviceware are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use.

Your attention to detail and reliability help keep the kitchen running smoothly and uphold Live!'s hospitality standards. You will work in a fast-paced casino environment, following safety and sanitation regulations while stocking and organizing work areas for the next shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 0–6 months of foodservice experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule with potential extended hours.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated equipment, sinks, refrigerators/freezers, service areas, walls, floors and related areas following sanitation requirements.
• Stock kitchen lines and service areas with cleaned wares and equipment; handle items to prevent breakage.
• Transport garbage containers and compactors to dumpsters.
• Maintain knowledge of department policies, procedures and standards.
• Inspect cleanliness and condition of washed equipment and areas; re-clean as needed.
• Report damages, maintenance problems, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Adhere to health, sanitization, and safety regulations.
