Job summary

Ko-Kwel Casino Resort is seeking a Kitchen Steward to keep the kitchen and dining areas spotless, organized, and well-stocked. You will ensure safe, sanitary conditions and support culinary teams during busy shifts.

Responsibilities include operating the main dishwasher, sanitizing utensils and surfaces, restocking the Employee Dining Room, and assisting with closing procedures. Weekend/evening shifts required; compliance with health and safety policies is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information to coworkers.
• Comfortable communicating clearly with guests and teammates.
• Must pass background check and drug-free workplace policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and dining areas.
• Operate the main kitchen dishwasher safely and efficiently.
• Sanitarily scrape, clean, and store flatware, glasses, dishes, pots, and pans.
• Restock the Employee Dining Room for staff during meal periods.
• Use approved cleaning compounds to keep kitchen areas safe and sanitary.
• Wipe down tables, shelves, and stainless-steel surfaces.
• Complete daily stewarding closing procedures and other assigned tasks.
• Support the team to keep operations running smoothly.
