Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Steward to support kitchen and restaurant operations by cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking cookware, utensils, and serviceware. The role emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and organized work areas to sustain dining quality and hospitality standards.

Compensation is USD 17.00 per hour. Must be able to obtain a Maryland gaming license. Union position with scheduling flexibility and potential extended hours.”

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0–6 months foodservice experience desirable.
• Must be able to obtain a Maryland gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated equipment, sinks, refrigerators/freezers, service areas and related spaces following sanitation requirements.
• Stock lines with cleaned wares, utensils, and equipment; handle carefully to prevent breakage.
• Transport garbage containers and compactors to dumpsters.
• Maintain knowledge of department policies and equipment use.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas.
