Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Nebraska is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across the casino property. You will protect company assets, enforce policies and gaming regulations, respond to incidents, and provide excellent guest service with professionalism.

The role requires clear communication, ability to handle confidential information, physical stamina, and the flexibility to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language.
• Must be able to obtain and retain a Nebraska Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security protection on property, including money transactions, customer service, and dispatch functions.
• Check IDs and ensure guests are at least 21 years of age to enter the casino.
• Observe and report disruptive or intoxicated people.
• Respond to security concerns promptly and efficiently.
• Provide medical attention in emergency situations to guests.
• Provide assistance and service to guests and Team Members.
• Communicate over dispatch radio effectively.
• Routinely patrol assigned areas while assisting guests and watching for risks, violations, or emergencies.
• Know location of emergency equipment (phones, extinguishers, exits).
• Report warranted security interventions immediately to Security Dispatch.
• Be prepared to assist fellow Officers at any time.
• Maintain an upbeat demeanor and composure.
• Comply with regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Act as a role model to other employees and encourage teamwork.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
