Job summary

Ute Mountain Casino Hotel seeks a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee daily security operations, respond to incidents, and lead ambassadors on the casino floor. You will coordinate with surveillance, hotel, and gaming teams while maintaining safety and exceptional guest service.

The role requires 2+ years in casino, tribal, or law enforcement security, plus at least 6 months in a supervisory capacity. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of casino/tribal or law enforcement security experience.
• 6 months of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Proven experience responding to emergencies and resolving guest or personnel conflicts in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Emergency and incident response: address medical/security/behavioral incidents and document actions.
• Training, coaching, and performance monitoring: onboard and train, de-escalate, provide coaching.
• Patrol and safety oversight: conduct patrols, secure areas, report hazards.
• Team supervision and shift coordination: assign posts, monitor breaks, adjust coverage.
• Report review and documentation: review incident reports and logs, provide feedback.
• Cross-departmental communication and support: coordinate with other departments to address concerns.
• Leadership presence and guest relations: maintain a visible leadership presence and excellent guest service.
