Job summary

The Tesuque Casino Security Department is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead security officers on assigned shifts, ensuring safety, service, and policy adherence. This role acts as Incident Commander during emergencies and coordinates with stakeholders to protect guests and staff.

Native American preference is noted. Candidates should have 3+ years in security or law enforcement, 3+ years in supervisory roles, First aid/CPR, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to work

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• 3+ years of Security, Military, Law Enforcement or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in supervisory/leadership role.
• Must be certified in First aid/CPR.
• Strong organizational, human relations and decision-making skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer-literate and able to work in a team environment.
• Creative with strong problem-solving and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Provide a secure environment for guests, employees and the public.
• Greet customers and create a positive first impression.
• Create relationships with guests to drive repeat business.
• Uphold Tesuque Guest Service Standards.
• Counsel and discipline officers to address performance and attendance issues.
• Protect casino records, assets, merchandise and equipment.
• Participate in daily security operations and patrol the casino.
• Exercise proper currency procedures and escort procedures.
• Prepare routine incident reports on incidents and employees.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Respond to emergencies as Incident Commander when required.
• Engage with guests professionally and answer questions in person/phone.
• Maintain knowledge of Internal Controls, Policies and Procedures.
• Investigate unusual or suspicious activities/incidents.
• Monitor and review incident reports for quality and completeness.
• Promote teamwork and effective communication with supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
