Tesuque Casino in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard guests, employees, assets and property. Under the Security Supervisor you will maintain a visible, professional presence, respond to incidents, conduct investigations, and document occurrences accurately.
The role blends protective duties with outstanding customer service, aligning with Tesuque Guest Service Standards and cultural awareness.
Under the direction of the Security Supervisor, the Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of guests, employees, assets, and property within the Casino. This includes enforcing all applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures while maintaining a visible and professional presence throughout the facility.
Security Officers are required to respond to all incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and document each occurrence accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with departmental protocols. Their role is critical in maintaining order, deterring potential threats, and ensuring a secure environment.
In addition to their protective duties, Security Officers are expected to provide exceptional customer service in alignment with the Tesuque Guest Service Standards, demonstrating courtesy, cultural awareness, and professionalism in every interaction. This position supports the overall mission of the Security Department through integrity, accountability, and operational excellence.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods. The employee occasionally is required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will be required to talk for extended periods and must be able to hear and understand. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to fifty (50) pounds. The work environment includes a variety of settings: food, oils, and cooking surfaces. The incumbent is occasionally exposed to loud noise and change in temperatures.
Work is generally performed in a casino setting with exposure to a high noise level. Due to the nature and scope of this position, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours and irregular shifts will be required.
