Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and two years in Compliance or Governmental Affairs.
• Casino experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Thorough knowledge of Casino Operations software and equipment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems diplomatically.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and daily management of the Compliance department.
• Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors performance and profit objectives.
• Creates schedules while maintaining labor costs and meeting staffing objectives.
• Assists in the budget process for the department and reports budget concerns to manager.
• Assists in training, implementation, and enforcement of SARC/Title 31 and Responsible Gaming programs.
• Ensures compliance with reporting commitments required by the Corporate office and regulatory agencies.
• Ensures adherence with Corporate-mandated compliance programs, including Responsible Gaming, via quarterly interviews and status reports.
• Liaises with the Missouri Gaming Commission to respond to incident reports and draft responses.
• Participates in annual license renewal submissions to the Missouri Gaming Commission.
• Provides mandated compliance training to new and existing staff.
• Works with management and the Missouri Gaming Commission on significant changes to operating environment to ensure compliance.
• Maintains detailed records and files to document transactions.
• Ensures staff understand gaming regulations and procedures.
• Compiles reports for the Missouri Gaming Commission and submits necessary paperwork.
• Keeps property updated with gaming rules and regulations.
• Enthusiastically supports and demonstrates superior customer service and ensures standards are followed.
• Responsible for achieving departmental customer service goals and reporting issues to executives.
