Job summary

Pueblo of Sandia is seeking a General Manager of Gaming Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of the casino, including Slot, Table Games, Poker, Bingo, Keno, Sportsbook, Cage/Vault, Count, and Responsible Gaming. Lead senior gaming staff and coordinate with the COO to maximize profits and ensure policy compliance.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, planning, and budgeting, with responsibility for performance metrics, customer service, and cost control across all gaming divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Public Administration, or related field with ten years’ experience in casino management.
• Eight years of Gaming Operations experience in a senior management position in a class III gaming facility with 2,000+ machines.
• Possible substitution of education with fourteen years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Maximize revenue generation across gaming departments.
• Provide flawless customer service and high-quality gaming product.
• Control labor and operating costs to align with casino volume.
• Develop and monitor operational plans and budgets with the COO.
• Manage direct reports, mentor staff, and drive performance excellence.
• Prepare financial reports for Tribal Council and stakeholders.
