Job summary

The role requires the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, with a focus on accurate paperwork, cash handling, and cross-department collaboration. Training and licensing requirements are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required; marketing experience preferred.
• One year of customer service experience is required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve issues diplomatically.
• Must obtain WV Racing Commission and WV Lottery licenses and TIPS certification.
• Strong communication, problem solving and a positive attitude.
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Assist Marketing with setup, execution and follow-up of casino promotions and events on select shifts.
• Attend Marketing Center, Box Office and Event Center counters; handle cash and guest comps.
• Assist all customers with concerns and direct them to appropriate areas.
• Welcome bus patrons, count and distribute coupons, and complete promo paperwork.
• Perform light clerical tasks using promotional software, filing, copying and envelope stuffing.
• Educate patrons about promotions and loyalty program benefits.
• Work with other departments as needed and promote superior customer service.
• Comply with all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements; report issues as needed.
