Job summary

Kewadin Casinos on the Manistique, MI property seeks a Shift Manager to lead the casino floor and gaming operations. You will supervise team members, ensure staffing, and maintain compliance with MICS, Title 31, NIGC rules, and tribal standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in casino operations.
• Criminal background check required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
• Knowledge of table games and HR management principles.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise casino floor and gaming activities; assign and review work.
• Coordinate staffing to ensure effective service levels and approve overtime.
• Provide staff direction and motivate team members to resolve daily issues.
• Resolve customer service issues and protect gaming assets.
• Monitor financial asset performance to ensure gaming integrity.
• Ensure compliance with MICS, Title 31, NIGC rules and tribal standards.
• Direct and ensure team members comply with internal controls and policies.
• Supervise other departments in the absence of departmental supervision.
• Develop procedures to improve table games performance.
