Job description

REPORTS TO: General Manager/Assistant Manager/Shift Leader

The cashier position is critical to the daily success of the restaurant. It’s a guest-facing role; often the first point of contact with the guest beyond the “Welcome to Firehouse” greeting.

Job Requirements:

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent menu and product knowledge.
• Responsible for the accuracy of the guest’s order.
• Effective communication skills to handle guest questions and concerns professionally.
• Proficient in the use of the POS system.
• Maintain accuracy of the cash drawer.
• Team player attitude.
• Sincerely thank guests for their business.
• Participate in all Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation fundraising initiatives.
• Keep an organized, stocked, and sanitary workspace.
• Willingness to perform other restaurant functions such as food preparation or cleaning, as directed by management.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Starting pay up to $11/hr, based on experience and availability.

Compensation: Up to $11.00/hr
