Our first store, located in Idaho Falls, ID was called C-A-L Ranch & Farm Supply. The store had less than 3,000 square feet and primarily sold tillage tools and hardware. What You’ll Do:

The cashier role is vital as you are often the first and sometimes the only point of contact with our customers. It is essential to embody professionalism, courtesy, and provide legendary customer service with a friendly attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, maintaining high standards, and demonstrating product knowledge.
• Stay informed about products, promotions, and advertisements.
• Assist with merchandising, displays, and store cleanliness.
• Help process transactions, restock merchandise, and monitor inventory.
• Follow all company policies, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention.
• Accurately complete sales transactions and manage cash and media at the register.
• Communicate customer requests to management.
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and operate the inventory system.
• Handle cash, checks, credit/debit transactions, and receipts.
• Verify cash register totals against cash on hand.
• Process refunds and returns according to store policies.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, including scanning and totaling purchases.
• Watch safety videos and adhere to safety procedures.
• Answer phone calls promptly and direct them appropriately.
• Assist in training new employees and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds regularly, and over 25 pounds with assistance.
• Must be physically present at the store; regular attendance is required.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Capability to push, pull, and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
