Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• One year of prior retail or related experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills; ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.
• Good customer service and organizational skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize purchases and process payments.
• Weigh and bag customer purchases and maintain front-end duties.
• Ensure proper use of PLUs and report pricing/signage errors.
• Communicate store programs, in-store specials and coupons to customers; model high service standards.
• Follow PPE, safety guidelines and food safety expectations.
