Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona (GCNA) in Chandler, AZ is hiring a store associate to lead an excellent customer and brand experience. You will run registers, assist customers, and help maintain sales floor standards to promote sales.

The role requires strong customer service, basic math, and English communication skills, with a starting pay of $15.15 per hour. This position emphasizes attendance, teamwork, and adherence to GCNA core values.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent math skills preferred.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Performs POS responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods; asks for help from a leader if needed.
• Completes closing procedures, as necessary.
• Greets customers and thanks them as they leave.
• Maintains sales floor and stock areas as assigned.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
• Models Goodwill Core Values (Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, Innovation).
